Hello my dear-y's...as the crisp fall nights are upon us i thought to share my very favorite Halloween tradition...The Wizard of Oz...Every Halloween i cuddle up with the most wonderful movie of all time. As a child it always would seem to be playing on t.v. so i would pop some popcorn and settle in for a wonderful tale...
Now my lil' chicks and i show the movie outside on our garage door Halloween night while handing out candy,popcorn, hot cider, & baked goodies to passer byers...placing draped orange twinkle lights all around lines of black folding chairs so tired children and very tired parents can take a lil' break from the furry of the festive night... & watch the greatest movie of all time! oooh what a fun night!

1939 movie...ahhh...what an amazing movie...
early on...i fell in love with the sight of the ol' black and white tattered barn farm look...
first thought back...i feel in love with aunt Em's farm style...and the old hatted hard workin' farm hands...what a wonderful fall feeling! I credit lots of my farm love & ol barn style to this movie...it brings me joy! That is why i love raisin' my family in that style of ol' tattered, peelin' warm lovin' home grown love. And why i love sharin' it with you all...Joy!
