THE 5 MUA PRODUCTS I WILL REPURCHASE

When it comes to cheap cosmetics I can be a little wishy-washy - some things I adore and some things I think are best left on the shelf. Recently I've had the opportunity to try a lot of budget bargains that I've raved about but the one brand I keep going back to time and again? MUA, of course.
I love high end cosmetics but when I want a high street pick-me-up or I'm having to fend off the bank manager the first place I turn to is Superdrug for the MUA stand. I wanted to share with you the 5 products that I will repurchase time and again from them because, well, I'm a little bit in love and couldn't imagine not having them in my stash.
Firstly we have the much blogged about dupes for Urban Decay: the now infamous Undressed (RRP £4.00) and Undress Me Too Palettes (RRP £4.00). Pigmented with a great longevity when worn if you want an alternative to spending a lot of money on every day, wearable neutrals then these are for you. I do own the Naked 2 and Naked Basics Palettes from Urban Decay but I save them for special occasion as I get exactly the same looks from these MUA alternatives.
As base products go I openly admit I'm a bit of a snob but I like the Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation (RRP £5.00). It's not got the best durability when it's on it's own but with a great primer and a great powder it really is a fab product. The 'illuminating' particles give a subtle dewy effect but not glitterball thankfully.
The Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (RRP £3.00) has the prettiest design embossed onto it and gives a great glow to the skin when applied lightly, although if you're too heavy handed it can look chalky. I like to use it on the tops of my cheeks and as an inner corner highlight for my eye makeup.
And to round up my five? I couldn't do a post like this without mentioning the Lipstick in Shade 3 (RRP £1.00). It's a bright pop of fushia-pink which gets me loads of compliments every time I wear it. I also like to put it onto my cheeks for a flush of colour. The longevity of this lipstick is about 1-2 hours depending on what you're doing but at the price I don't mind sailing through it. I'm already onto my second one.
All of these products can be found on the MUA website or in Superdrug stores with MUA stands across the UK. MUA are currently holding a 30% off event on their website (although some stock is already sold out) with the code MUA30 entered at the checkout. You can follow MUA on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Blogger for news, product information and launches, competitions and inspiration.
